Are you being tempted?
Text: James 1: 12-16
Since Satan tempted Eve and succeeded he continues to carry out the act of temptation on the human race. Temptation in itself is not a sin; it is when we yield to the temptation (carry out the act) that we have sinned.
Christians are often the target of the enemy. We are faced with situations at times where in the enemy will tempt us to do that which is wrong. It is when we yield to the Holy Spirit that He is able to guide us so that we can endure the temptation.
Let us guard ourselves against the enemy because he is subtle in his ways.
THOUGH FOR TODAY:
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation.
