Stored Treasures!
Text: St. Matthew 6: 19-21
The Bible admonishes us not to store up treasures on earth, yet many Christians find no time to do the work for which we were mandated, instead every day they are working to accumulate more of this world’s goods.
The work we do here on earth in the name of the Lord and services we render to mankind are the real treasures that will benefit us in eternity. When we genuinely give ourselves to the service of the Lord we will not be in want of any good thing because the Lord will be no man’s debtor.
Today let us seek to do something in the name of the lord, be it to a child or an adult.
THOUGH FOR TODAY:
Stored treasures in Heaven will not rust, nor will they be stolen.
