Do you still trust Him?
Text: Matthew 6:25 -31
Many are becoming more and more concerned as the effects of the increased fuel prices impact the economies across the world. The cost of basic food prices are at an all time high and some persons are getting anxious about their ability to feed their families. It is easy for us to think we may one day we may not be able to buy food.
How do we reconcile that with what Jesus said in Matthew 6:25 – “Do not worry about what you will eat or drink? (NIV) Yes my brothers and sisters, it is not easy to trust God when the realities are staring you in the face, but God is a faithful God who is not slack concerning His promises. He said we should not worry; just as he takes care of the flowers of the field and the birds of the air, he will take care of us too.
Whatever your needs are, just take it to the Lord in prayer. Ask him to help you to fix your eyes on Him rather than on your circumstances.
THOUGH FOR TODAY:
Chose to trust him rather than to worry.
