He wants to fellowship with you!
Text: Revelation 3:20
This verse of Scripture is often used to witness to unsaved but it was actually intended to be a word for believers. It is true that God always desire for us to be more intimate with him but at times we exclude him from our lives and try to do things on our own. God will never ‘push’ his way to be close to us; he wants us to thirst for Him, to hunger for him, to invite Him in. So here He is saying “I am standing at the door longing to fellowship with you, will you let me in?”
Do you desire to be more intimate with God today? Do you want to fellowship with Him? Do you want to feel the warmth of His embrace and His love surrounding you? Well He is knocking on your heart’s door right now? Can you hear His gentling voice calling your name? How will you respond?
THOUGH FOR TODAY:
God longs to fellowship with you today, why not invite Him in?
