The Storms of Life!
Text: St. Matthew 7:24-28
We in the Caribbean will soon be facing another hurricane season. How a these hurricane will affect us is not so much dependent on the strength of the storm, but rather how much we prepare for them.
The storms of life also affect us in the form of temptations and trials. How our daily lives and testimonies are affected by these stormy times of life is not dependent on the severity of the test. This is because God in His words, promised that He will not test us more than we can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13)The impact that temptations and trials have on our lives are largely dependent on how much we prepare for them. We prepare by building our lives on a strong foundation. That foundation is Jesus Christ our Lord. Each day as we face life's trials, we should resolve in our hearts that we are going to put our trust in Jesus, the Rock of our salvation.
THOUGH FOR TODAY:
Faith in Christ is the guarantee for security during the storms of life.
