Handling past disappointments!
Text: Philippians 3:13; 1 Samuel 15-16:1
Do you feel like you are being tested and tried? The challenges feel like they are overwhelming you? Do you feel like giving up?
Well you are not alone. I believe the people of God perhaps felt the same way and so Paul challenged them not to despise the chastening of the Lord. Once you put your life in God’s hands you have to trust Him to work things out for your good. Endure whatever you are going through right now with the understanding that better is on before. Yes it is painful now but things will get better. Once you keep your eyes on Jesus, He will bring you out.
So the word Paul shared is for you today “Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.” Get up and recognize that God will give you double for all your trouble.
